MANTECA PRESENTS: ROAD STORIES @ REVOLUTION

Manteca does not stop producing….

"We still have a lot to say," said Matt Zimbel. (Band leader and percussionist).

"We couldn't wait to get back on stage, so we decided to gather some good friends at the magnificent Revolution Recording studio in Toronto, to film a series of three one-hour shows on the Bandcamp platform. »

Road Stories was filmed with six cameras!

So, it is in a smoky atmosphere that Elizabeth Shepherd, John Orpheus, Clerel, Whitehorse, Chelsea McBride & Jackson Welchner, Jenna Marie and I collaborated with the band to share our music and our road stories.

With delight, I wore my multi-tasking hat, because in addition to being one of the guest artists, I had the honour of singing with Manteca on two of their compositions... found myself a few times at the microphone singing back-up…and if you’re a Mantecian, food is a huge part of the experience, and I am thrilled to have contributed to it during the sessions.
